Tuya WiFi Smart Blind and Roller Shutter Motor
I recently integrated the Tuya Smart Blind Motor into my home office to see if it could reliably handle daily adjustments. This compact device attaches to your existing setup, allowing for wireless control of your blinds through a dedicated mobile app.
Performance & Build Quality
The unit features a functional, utilitarian design that feels sturdy enough for daily lifting cycles. While the casing is primarily plastic, it holds up well under consistent tension, provided the blinds themselves aren't excessively heavy or prone to sticking.
Day-to-Day Experience
Installation is straightforward, though a stable 2.4GHz WiFi connection is essential for the app controls to remain responsive. Once connected, scheduling blinds to open with the sunrise becomes a game-changer for your morning routine.
This motor is ideal for renters or homeowners who want smart home convenience without the high cost of custom motorized shades.
Final Thoughts
With an overall rating of 4.02/5, the Tuya Smart Blind Motor provides excellent utility for the $69.00 price tag. It is a reliable, budget-friendly way to upgrade your windows if you prioritize scheduling features over premium aesthetic finishes.
